DEFYING GRAVITY
Synopsis
This free-structured look at the 1986 Challenger disaster, in which a teacher and six others died as they hurtled into space, explores our need to reach beyond ourselves and dare the universe.
My Role: Sound Designer
My whole goal throughout this project was to honor and respect each story and life that this tragedy has effected. One aspect that I knew I wanted to get right is the big impactful moment that happens within this story. Being familiar with the history of this piece furthered my research and overall goal.
